This stem was designed in Dreamcatcher and manufactured via direct metal 3D printing. The ultimate goal is to design and manufacture the lightest bike stem on the market by using a generative design process and direct metal printing. This prototype is printed in stainless steel due to the prohibitively high cost of printing in titanium today.
